The valley is a part of the Low Tatras National Park. The park was established in 1978 and is today the largest national park in Slovakia. Almost a thousand kilometres of hiking trails run through it, and one of the most interesting and beautiful is precisely the ridge trail.
Chopok

From Chopok, we will set off on a scenic route leading along the mountain ridge.
