Kazimierz is one of the most recognisable places in Kraków. Kazimierz was an independent town from its establishment in 14th century till the beginnings of 19th century. For many centuries, it was a place of coexistence and merging of the Jewish and Christian cultures. Today, Kazimierz is a vibrant cultural and artistic quarter which attracts those who want to feel the spirit of Kraków’s bohemia. Cosy cafés and restaurants, galleries and antique shops, cobbled streets, and Jewish cultural monuments create a charming atmosphere that one cannot resist.
Wawel Castle
Wawel Castle is a national and cultural symbol. It was the seat of Polish rulers, their necropolis and the place where the history of Poland was being shaped.
Wawel Cathedral is the coronation cathedral of the Poland’s kings and the place of their eternal rest. Great leaders and creators of the Polish culture are also buried there.

Main Market Square has a unique historical, cultural and social significance. It is the largest (4 hectares) square of Kraków and one of the largest market squares in Europe. Main Market Square is surrounded by several-hundred-year-old tenement houses, palaces, renowned shops, and famous restaurants.
